Photographer Captures F-14A Tomcat Breaking Sound Barrier
Powered by two Pratt and Whitney JT10As engines, the F-14A Tomcat is able to reach speeds in excess of Mach 2.2, with an overall thrust-to-weight ratio of 0.56.
